Our Journey Towards Sustainable Design Solutions
We started Parcel while working at a charter school where every day we saw how broken systems show up in broken furniture. Cracked chairs. Wobbly desks. A storeroom overflowing with pieces too cheap to last and too hard to fix. The spaces felt chaotic and temporary — not because people didn’t care, but because they didn’t have better options.
From the beginning, we knew a better desk or bookshelf wasn’t enough. We needed a better system.
So we designed one: a modular furniture line that’s sustainable, repairable, and built to make everyday spaces feel good to be in. We started with a chair, then expanded into desks, shelving, ceiling panels, and more — all using the same open-source logic and durable, beautiful materials.
Parcel isn’t just about reducing waste. It’s about expanding access to well-designed, lasting environments — spaces people actually want to be in.
